Georgia, Tbilisi/ Тrend corr N. Kirtskhalia / Azerbaijan is to strengthen military relations with Georgia, Azerbaijani Defence Minister, Safar Abiyev, said to journalists in Tbilisi.
Azerbaijan and Georgia already have close political and economic relationships, he said. "We intend to bring military relations close to the requirements and decided to strengthen and develop them in all directions," Abiyev said.
The Minister made the statement after he laid flowers at the memorial site in honour of the people who struggled and died for Georgia's territorial integrity located in the Square of Heroes.
