Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend S.Agayeva / Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan are to sign an Action Plan on cooperation in the military sector. The document will be signed during the upcoming official visit of the Kazakh Defense Minister Danial Ahmadov to Azerbaijan on 8-9 October, Latif Gandilov, the Azerbaijani Ambassador to Kazakhstan said in a telephone conversation on 1 October.
The key objective of the visit is to get familiar with the armed forces of Azerbaijan and development of bilateral relations, the ambassador said.
The meeting to be held at the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry will focus on security in the Caspian region and exchange of experience within the framework of NATO's Partnership for Peace program.
