Azerbaijan, Baku / Тrend corr A. Gasimova / Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev met with his Tajik counterpart Emomali Rahmon in Tajikistan. They discussed a wide range of issues on bilateral and multilateral cooperations between Azerbaijan and Tajikistan
The Presidents expressed their satisfaction with the results of the mutual visits held this year and exchanged their views regarding implementation of the signed documents.
They expressed their confidence with the political and legal basis established during the visits will give a desired result for further development of bilateral cooperation. It was noted that as a result of successful implementation of the achieved agreements, trade and economic relationships will receive a new impetus and trade turnover will increase.
The Presidents also exchanged their views regarding the next summit of the CIS countries, regional and international security and the regional cooperation as well as the issues of the mutual interest.
