Ukraine, Kiev / Trend corr. Z. Novosvitski / The Ukrainian and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers met on 5 October to discussing preparations concerning the Vilnius conference on energy security.
The meeting of Elmar Mammadyarov, the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister, and Arseniy Yatsenyuk, the Ukrainian Foreign Minister, was held within the framework of the summit in Dushanbe, Tajikistan on 5 October.
The parties discussed the further reformation of the CIS, as well as bilateral and multilateral cooperation within the framework of the Commonwealth taking into consideration the new conception of further development of the CIS and plans for its implementation.
The Vilnius conference on security in energy is scheduled for 10 and 11 October.
