Relations of population towards left differ after collapse of the Soviet Union. There are few socialist organizations in Azerbaijan. Programs of all political parties base on ideology of lefts, the leader of the party consider.
There is no need in establishment of new left organizations to enforce the grounds of socialism in Azerbaijan as there are not strong parties in Azerbaijan. Even the ruling New Azerbaijan Party is not strong enough. Increase in number of organizations leads to divide of forces, SDPA's leader said.
"It will be very difficult for Azerbaijani parties will be difficult to join, Alizadeh said.
SDPA is a left wing Azerbaijani party. Ayaz Mutallibov, the former Azerbaijani President, is the head of the party. SDPA is represented in the Socialist International.
