Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Baku Metro, on 5 November the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, signed executive orders conferring "Shohret" (Glory) Order, "Taraggi" (Progress) Medal and honorary title "Honored Engineer of the Republic of Azerbaijan" upon a group of persons for their contribution to construction and operation of the metro.
