Trend K.Ramazanova / The Co-rapporteurs of the PACE Monitoring Committee, Andreas Herkel and Yevgenia Jivkova, will visit Azerbaijan at the beginning of the next year, the Co-rapporteur of the PACE Monitoring Committee, Andreas Herkel, briefed the media on 9 December in Baku. "Together with the new Co-rapporteur of the PACE, we will visit Azerbaijan's regions, especially Nakchivan Autonomous Republic, to become familiarized with the situation," Herkel said. According to him, there are not political prisoners and jailed journalists in any of the Council of Europe member-country, but unfortunately this problem still remains in existence in Azerbaijan.
