Azerbaijn, Baku, 9 January / corr Trend K.Zarbaliyeva / On 9 Jan, Ilham Aliyev, the Azerbaijan President, received the US delegation led by Robert Wexler, the Chairman of the Subcommittee on Europe within the House Foreign Affairs Committee.
Robert Wexler said the United States and Azerbaijan are close strategic partners, and are rapidly developing their relations in all the fields.
President Ilham Aliyev stressed that the Azerbaijan-US relations are successfully developing. The Azerbaijani leader voiced his hope that Wexler`s visit will be a good opportunity to eyewitness the development processes in Azerbaijan, and will contribute towards the expansion of the bilateral ties.
