Azerbaijan, Baku, 15 January / Тrend corr S. Agayeva / Slovenian President Danilo Turk is to visit Azerbaijan.
Slovenia has already begun preparations for the visit and will submit its proposals to Baku in the near future, Slovenian Consul to Azerbaijan Borut Megushar said to Trend on 15 January.
The principal agreement on the visit has been already achieved and only technical issues are left to be resolved, Megushar said. The visit may take place in the first half of this year and the itinerary of the visit will be coordinated by experts.
According to the Consul, this is the first official visit of the Slovenian President to Azerbaijan. The Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev travelled to Slovenia in August 2007.
