Alizade/ The increase in fine sum imposed for the traffic rule violations will lead to the drop both in automobile accidents and in traffic rule violations. "The citizens will remember that they will have to pay a big sum of fine for the traffic rule violations. No one would wish to pay a big amount of fine. So, the increase in fine sum will lead to the drop in the traffic rule violations," Ramil Usubov, the interior minister of Azerbaijan said to journalists on 18 January.
According to Usubov, providing traffic police with new service cars will also facilitate the struggle against traffic rule violations.
