For Georgia Political Party Plan to Nominate 150 Candidatures in Parliamentary Elections

Azerbaijan, Baku, 25 January / Trend corr. S.Ilhamgizi / The new For Georgia political party, which will be founded by Azerbaijanis, will participate in the parliamentary elections, Dashgin Gulmammadov, the head of the National Assembly of Georgian Azerbaijanis, stated to trend on 25 January.

According to Gulmammadov, the constituent assembly of the party will be held in Tbilisi on the next week. The Charter of party is expected to be passed, as well as the chairman of the party will be elected during the assembly.

Gulmammadov and Fazil Mammadov are expected to nominate their candidature.

According to Gulmammadov, For Georgia will be an opposition party. The party will participate in the upcoming parliamentary elections scheduled for May 2008. The party is planning to participate in the upcoming presidential with 150 candidates.

According to the non-official information, about 500,000 Azerbaijanis live in Georgia.
