Austria, Vienna, 22 February / Trend corr. A.Alaskarov / The issue of the development of inter-parliamentary cooperation was considered during the meeting of Bahar Muradova, the Azerbaijani Vice Speaker, with Michael. Spindelegger, Deputy Chairman of Austrian Parliament, in Vienna.
The parties discussed bilateral inter-parliamentary issues and ways out of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh, as well as the development of Azerbaijani-Austrian relations in the economy and tourism spheres, Muradova stated to Trend .
The Austrian Vice Speaker was invited to attend in the 90th anniversary of the Azerbaijani Government independence. Furthermore, a book depicting the occupied Nagorno-Karabakh regions of Azerbaijan was presented to the Vice Speaker.
Muradova stated that the issue concerning the proclamation of independence by Kosovo, as well as the implementation of the Agreement on usual armaments in Europe was discussed during the first session of OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.
The winter session of OSCE PA is being held in Vienna on 21 and 22 February. Muradova is heading the Azerbaijani parliamentary mission to OSCE PA.
