Azerbaijan, Baku, 22 February / corr Trend S.Agayeva / Azerbaijan and Japan are eager to enter a new stage of political partnership.
New opportunities for cooperation will be discussed in Tokyo on 27 February during consultations between the foreign ministries of Azerbaijan and Japan, Gursel Ismayilzade, adviser to the Azerbaijani embassy in Japan said over the telephone from Tokyo on 22 February.
An Azerbaijani delegation led by deputy foreign minister Khalaf Khalafov will participate in the consultations. The parties are expected to discuss relevant issues of bilateral cooperation as well as to exchange opinions on regional and international political developments, the diplomat said.
