Azerbaijan, Baku, 1 March / Trend corr E. Huseynli/ An Afghan citizen committed a crime in Azerbaijan.
Mohammad Shfahi Ayubi, an Afghan citizen, who is renting an apartment (7, Ahmadli St, Khatai District) in Baku, killed his wife, Arian Ibrahimi, and injured his mother-in-law, Havaya Ibrahimi, in result of a family conflict, the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry told Trend on 1 March.
Last year, foreigners committed 285 crimes in Azerbaijan, which is 20.3% more than in 2006.
Havaya Ibrahimi has been taken to hospital and her health condition is hard. Shfahi is being searched for.
