Azerbaijan, Baku, 21 March /corr. Trend R.Hafizoglu / Together with Iraqi and coalition forces, the peaceful population also should fight against the terrorists of Al Kaida in Iraq, said Iraqi MP Fovzi Akram Terzioglu.

Associated Press reported on 19 March that making a speech before the press with regards to the fifth anniversary of outbreak of war in Iraq, the U.S. President, George Bush, said that the coalition forces in Iraq gained victory over Al Kaida terrorists in Iraq. According to him, the Arabians also joined the coalition forces in order to expel the Al Kaida terrorists from the Country.

"The Iraqi Government should use all its forces to gain victory over the terrorists," Terzioglu reported to Trend by telephone from Kirkuk on 20 March. The MP considers that yet it is early to highlight victory over Al Kaida terrorists in Iraq.

The Director of Kirkuk Strategic Studies Center, Ahmed Tegiy, also considers that yet it is early to speak of victory over the Al Kaida terrorists. " Iraq contains favorable conditions for not only the terrorists of Al Kaida, but also other terrorist networks and armed barons," Tegiy reported to Trend via e-mail from Kirkuk.

According to him, all forces fighting in Iraq are terrorists. "The coalition forces, identified with the terrorists and resistance groups, deceive the peaceful people. The statements that the Sunnite Arabs of Iraq joined the coalition forces are unreal," he said.

The expert considers that currently the Sunnite groups, who formerly fought together with Al Kaida, function independently. "The reasons for separation of the Sunnites from Al Kaida are that the terrorist network accused them of apostasy," the politician said. He considers that unlike Al Kaida terrorists, other Sunnite groups do not carry out military operations against peaceful population.
