Georgia, Tbilisi, 16 May / corr Trend N.Kirtzkhalia / Georgian President Mikhael Saakashvili thanked Azerbaijan for its support during the voting for UN Resolution on refugees, envisaging repatriation of all refugees in Abkhazia. Saakashvili made this statement in the opening ceremony of SOCAR-owned Kulevi terminal on 16 May.
On 15 May, the UN General Assembly adopted a resolution with support of 14 countries, including Azerbaijan. Eleven countries, including Russia, Belarus and Armenia voted against this resolution.
"Real support appears in such situations and Azerbaijanis reaffirmed their fraternal attitude towards Georgia," the head of state of Georgia said.
