Azerbaijan, Baku, 21 May / corr. Trend A. Gasimova/ Russia and France support political way of the settlement of the conflicts in the post soviet space. "We support only political way of settlement of the conflicts within the current formats," Sergey Lavrov, the foreign minister of Russia said in Moscow in a joint press conference with his French counterpart Bernar Kushner.
"As to the conflict in Abkhazia, Russia and France are members of the group of friends of the UN Secretary General on Abkhazia and South Ossetia, there is talks format with the participation of OSCE and these formats should be fully used," Lavrov said.
