Ukraine, Kiev, 22 May /corr. Trend Z.Novosvitski / The President of Ukraine, Victor Yushenka, awarded President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, the Order of Prince Yaroslav Mudry of 1st Class, the Press Service of Ukrainian President said.
According to the order, the award was provided due to personal contribution of Ilham Aliyev in strengthening Ukrainian-Azerbaijani relations.
Ilham Aliyev awarded Victor Yushenka the Order Heydar Aliyev for his services in developing relations of friendship and co-operation between Azerbaijani and Ukrainian peoples.
The ceremony of exchanging orders took place within Azerbaijan President's official visit to Ukraine.
