France, Strasburg, 27 May / corr. Trend A. Maharramli/ The 15th plenary session of the Congress of the local and regional administrations of the Europe will held Strasburg on 27-29 May. The plenary session is expected to elect the president of the Congress of local and regional administrations, secretary general, presidents and vice presidents of its both chambers, including local and regional administrations and chairmen of the Congress commissions.
The co-reporters will make a report on Inter-Cultural and Inter-Religion Dialogue: Possibility of New Democracy in the session.
The special discussions to promote the role of CE in strengthening the role of local and regional democracy in Europe are expected to be held during the session.
The issues concerning local democracy in Azerbaijan does not stand on the agenda of the session.
The delegation of Azerbaijan, who will take part in the session, includes Abulfaz Babayev, chairman of Association of the city municipality of Azerbaijan and municipality of Sumgayit city, Ilham Khalilov, chairman of the settlement municipalities of Azerbaijan and chairmen of the village municipalities of Azerbaijan Shamistan Yusifov, Anar Ibrahimov and Rauf Aliyev.
