Azerbaijan, Baku, 10 June / Trend corr. J.Babayeva / The Liberal-Democratic Party of Azerbaijan (LDPA), which has not been provided with headquarters so far, will make a court appeal against the State-run Committee on State Property Management, Fuad Aliyev, Chairman of LDPA, stated in the news-conference in Baku on 10 June.

LDPA was founded in 1999 and held the state registration. Under the Bill 'on political parties', the government has to provide parties, which passed state registration, with headquarters. LDPA was planed to stage a rally before the State-run Committee on State Property Management on 2 June. The Executive Power of Baku did not sanction the rally.

According to Aliyev, if the Khatai District Court would not approve the appeal, LDPA will make a court appeal to the European Court. "If the government will not provide the party with headquarters, then the Bill 'on political parties' would be exclude from the legislation," Aliyev said.
