Azerbaijan, Baku, 15 August / Trend corr. U.Sadikhova/ Iraqi President Jalal Talabani has been discharged from the Rochester Hospital, Minnesota, after a heart surgery.
On 14 August, Jalal Talabani, 74, experienced an effective heart surgery. According to his Spokesperson, he feels good. In the morning of 15 August, he was discharged from the hospital but still stays in the country, Iraqi Aswat Aliraq news agency reported on 15 August.
Spokesperson said Talibani would return to Iraq as soon as his rehabilitation period is over, but did not specify the date.
Jalal Talibani, a Kurd, took the presidential post in April 2005. Previously, he was the leader of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan.
