R.Agayev / Majority of the European Union (EU) countries confirmed policy for partnership with Russia realizing mutual benefit of this cooperation, Andrey Nesterenko, official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry said at a briefing in Moscow on 2 September.
"Entire complex of our partnership should not be hostage of divergence on different issues and it would be imprudent to put it under threat," Nesterenko said.
According to Nesternko, Russia is interested in relations with the EU as the EU with Russia. "There is enough opportunity for mutually beneficial cooperation of Russia with the EU in different fields," Nesterenko said.
