Azerbaijan, Baku, 9 September/ Trend , corr J. Babayeva/ The opposition parties of Azerbaijan will discuss changes in the format of opposition Four.

"If Musavat party and For Azerbaijan Public Forum who joined the statement of opposition refuse to cooperate in Four format, change in the format of cooperation or involving new political organization will be discussed," Ali Orujov, spokesman and secretary on promotion of National Independence Party of Azerbaijan represented in Four said.

Last week, Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan, Liberal party, Citizens and Development Party represented in Azadlig bloc and Musavat party, For Azerbaijan Public Forum represented in Four signed a joint statement on announcing presidential elections to be held on 15 October as illegal.

The statement said the government to be formed after presidential elections will be illegitimate. National Independence Party and Democratic Party of Azerbaijan involved in Four refused to join this document.

Orujov said signing of this statement by Musavat and For Azerbaijan Public Forum will not create obstacles for Four as the new center for cooperation of parties who signed a joint statement is unofficial body.

"I think, both political organizations will not oppose the continuation of cooperation in format of Four. Of course, if they do not see any need for this format, we will respect their decision," he said.

National Independence Party is a proponent of holding meetings in the format of four and it believes that the format will come together again soon. There is a need for opposition cooperation in any format. We should try to prevent estrangement in opposition," Orujov said.
