Iran and Turkey Sign Joint Marine Co-operation Agreement

Azerbaijan, Baku, 15 September / Trend / On 15 September, Iran and Turkey signed an agreement on joint marine co-operation, Iran's Mehr new agency reported.

The agreement on joint marine co-operation was signed by Ali Tahiri Mutlag, chairman of Port and Shipping Organization of Iran, and Hasan Naiboglu, chairman of Port and Shipping Organization of Turkey.

In the signing ceremony, Ali Tahiri Mutlag said that the trade turnover between Iran and Turkey amounted to $8.5bln. $6.5bln of this was imported from Turkey to Iran and $2bln in opposite direction.
