Representatives of Afghani Senate to Stage Demonstration

Afghanistan, Kabul, 16 September/ Trend , corr A. Hakimi/ Representative of Senate of Afghanistan plan to stage a demonstration as a sign of protest against civilian deaths and to demand to provide full security. The senate has gone on one-day strike.

Speaker of Majlis of Senate Abdulkhalig Huseyni said Senate has sent a letter of protest to UN office in Afghanistan, Presidential Administration and other governmental agencies requesting provide security in the country.

So far, both Senate and Majlis of national Council has repeatedly staged demonstration as a protest against civilian deaths and undermining of stability.

Representatives of Majlis of National Council held discussions with President Hamid Karzai as well to on this issue. However, Milli Majlis representatives believe that such discussions will not yield any result. The actions of coalition forces must be legalized in order to provide full security and to establish stability in Afghanistan.

The legalization of actions of coalition forces in Afghanistan is being discussed by the National Council and Majlis of Senate at the moment.
