Azerbaijan, Baku, 16 October / Trend corr. R.Hafizoglu/ The voting at the Consulate of Azerbaijan in Istanbul for the Presidential elections in Azerbaijan ended.
551 Azerbaijani citizens officially registered, 517 participated in voting.
"94% of registered electors came to Consulate and participated in voting," General Consul of Azerbaijan to Istanbul, Sayyad Aran, told Trend .
Seven candidates participated in the 15 October presidential elections, including Ilham Aliyev, chairman of ruling New Azerbaijan Party; Igbal Agazade, chairman of opposition Umid (Hope) Party; Fazil Gazanfaroglu, chairman of Great Establishment Party; Gudrat Hasanguliyev, chairman of Unified Popular Front Party; Hafiz Hajiyev, chairman of Muasir Musavat Party; Fuad Aliyev, chairman of Liberal Democrat Party and independent candidate Gulamhuseyn Alibayli.
