Azerbaijan, Ganja, 15 October /corr. Trend V.Mammadov / Some 109,781 voters participated in the Presidential elections in Azerbaijan's city of Ganja, a source at constituency election commission in Ganja reported.
Of 149,155 voters registered at 112 polling stations of constituency election commissions 38, 39 and 40, 73.6% (109,781 voters) participated in the elections.
The commission said that 1,319 local observers, with 610 representatives from political parties and 424 representatives from NGOs, observed the elections in Ganja. Some 285 people observed the elections at their initiative. 2,208 people were given deregistration card of voter.
Nearly 400 foreign observers, with 56 observing elections in line with OSCE, were registered in Ganja.
