CE Culture Ministers to Strengthen Cooperation
Azerbaijan, Baku, 3 December / Trend corr. J.Babayeva/ The Culture Ministers of the Council of Europe (CE) have agreed to strengthen cooperation process, which has begun at the Baku international conference on Intercultural dialogue as a base of peace and stable development in Europe and neighbor regions, the Baku declaration, which has been adopted at the end of the conference, said.
The CE Culture Ministers agreed to assist in development of creation as an important factor of stable economic, social and private development, which is favorable for creation in the field of culture. "We support a stable process of intercultural dialogue as a key factor of international cooperation," the declaration said.
The Ministers support an important role of politics in the field of culture at national, regional and local level. "We are for intercultural dialogue, including its interreligious aspect, as a process, requiring successive cooperation between different sectors of politics and full collaboration of different participants," the Baku declaration said.
The CE Culture Ministers are prepared to assist in intercultural dialogue as an efficient practice through exchange of political views.
Organized by the CE and the Azerbaijani Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the conference on Intercultural dialogue as a base of peace and stable development in Europe and neighbor regions is taking place in Baku on 2 and 3 December.
