Azerbaijan, Baku, Dec. 13/ Trend Mews, S. Kazimli, I. Alizade/ Condition of a girl injured during the blast in a bloc of flats in Baku is still grave, Clinic Hospital 2 said to Trend . Three-year-old girl has been hospitalized in surgery department. Her identity has not been established yet.
A blast took place in a bloc of flats in front of market in 34, Nakhchivani street in Nizami district of Baku at 8:30a.m on Dec.13. One of the blocs of the building has totally collapsed.
Six people including one child have been recovered from under the debris, Azerbaijan's Minister of Emergency Situations Kamaladdin Heydarov said to Trend .
The Ministry was informed about the blast at 08:23a.m. According to preliminary reports, blast took place because of a gas leak, minister said. The gas leak may be caused by repairs in one of the flats on the fourth stage, Heydarov said.
The rescue work continues.
Three people injured in a blast of bloc of flats in Baku have been identified. One of the injured - 23-year-old Mahmudova Oksana Aleksandrovna has been hospitalized with an injury in her collarbone and cerebral trauma in Musa Nagiyev hospital. 22-year-old Karimov Shirkhan Atash oglu has been hospitalized with a break of leg and cerebral trauma, doctor Sabit Gurbanov said to Trend .
68-year-old Gurbabova Novrasta has also been hospitalized with serious burns.
