Afghanistan, Kabul, Dec. 16 / Trend , A. Hakimi/ The Ministry of Defence of Afghanistan reported that a suicide bomber was wounded by ANA soldiers in Khost before blowing himself up.
According to the sources, ANA recognized and shot bomber. Besides IED killed civilian in Paktia.
They added that the man was trying to enter the Yaqoobi District Office when soldiers recognized him and opened fire. The man detonated a device, killing himself and wounding one ANA soldier, the Ministry of Defence said.
The Taliban, in spite of accepting the responsibility for the incident, claimed that eight ANA soldiers die in this incident.
Meanwhile, in Paktia, one civilian was killed and two wounded after an IED exploded next to them on Dec. 15, the Ministry of Defense said.
The Ministry also added that an ANA officer were wounded in an exchange fire with insurgents in Helmand provice.
