Ukraine, Kiev, Dec. 17/ corr. Trend Z. Novsvitski / The opposition Party of Regions stated that there wasn't any coalition in Verkhovna Rada [parliament] and the government should retire, Yaroslav Sukhiy, member of the Party of Regions, said during the Parliamentary session on Dec. 17

"This is shame, but not a coalition or a government," Sukhiy said.

In accordance with the Constitution of Ukraine, coalition of MP fractions including the most part of MPs is formed in Verkhovna Rada.

On Dec. 16 it was officially announced in Verkhovna Rada about conclusion of a coalition agreement between fractions including Bloc of Yulia Timoshenko (BYT), Our Ukraine-National Self defence (OU-NS) and Bloc of Litvin. So, 37 MPs of 72 signed coalition agreement from OU-NS fraction.

On Dec. 17 MP Sukhiy applied to representatives of BYT, OU-NS and Bloc of Litvin fractions urging to publish signatures of MPs under coalition agreement. Due to lack of 226 signatures the government is illegal and usurps a seat at the house of government, he said.

Sukhiy named coalition as illegally proclaimed and illegally born one, an illegitimate child. The main purpose to create such coalition is desired position of speaker for ones and staying in position of Prime Minister for others, he said.
