Afghanistan, Kabul, Dec. 22 / Trend , A. Hakimi / Sultan Ahmad Bahin, spokesman for the Afghan foreign minister said that sending more troops to Afghanistan would have a positive result in the near future.
New troops in Afghanistan will drive Taliban in to extremities, he said in a news conference.
The Afghan government is trying to convince the US officials to deploy the new troops along Afghan-Pakistan border, he said.
He said that new troops will ease the situation if they assist Afghan National Police and equip them to the new military standard.
This is while, Afghan and international military experts believe that sending new troops will intensify security situation.
