Brussels to host NATO-Georgian Commission meeting

On Feb. 4, Brussels will host the next meeting of the NATO-Georgian Commission. The meeting will focus on future cooperation, Deputy Georgian Foreign Minister David Jalagoniya said at a briefing on Feb. 2.

Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze will head the Georgian delegation, he said. The delegation will comprise Defense Minister David Sikharulidze and Georgian State Minister on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Georgi Baramidze.

The Georgian delegation will meet with NATO Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer.

The NATO-Georgian Commission was formed in September 2008 during the NATO mission's visit to Georgia.
