A delegation of the German federal defense force Bundeswehr is visiting Georgia. Representatives of the Hammelburg Infantry School visited the country's officer training school and became familiar with its curriculum.
A special presentation was held for the guests, the Georgian Defense Ministry reported. The delegation visited the Kojori military base and learned about repairs to infrastructural facilities.
Demonstrative military training sessions were organized for the German guests. The subdivision implemented military maneuvers in field conditions and successfully repulsed the enemy attack.
The show was held at night without casualties.
Today, the delegation will visit an event dedicated to officer training school graduates in 2009.
Germany is a strategic partner of Georgia.
Roughly 2,000 Georgian military were trained in Germany in recent years.
