"The Geneva talks are the only effective dialogue," Deputy Foreign Minister David Jalagonia said at today's briefing.
Tbilisi approaches each round of the talks responsibly, he said.
Jalagonia expressed hope that Russia and Abkhazia will not provoke the international community at the meeting. He also said he hoped that Moscow's position would be more constructive than in the past.
The next round of Geneva talks will be held on Feb. 17-18. The Georgian delegation left today to attend the talks. Representatives of the OSCE, EU, UN, Russia and the U.S. are also involved into the negotiations.
