Georgian speaker expects NATO meeting to facilitate membership process

Georgian Parliamentary Speaker David Bakradze expects the U.S. administration to show support to the country at the NATO meeting on March 5.
"Georgia is interested in launching the mechanisms granted by NATO in December as soon as possible," Bakradze told reporters.
The meeting is expected to facilitate Georgia's NATO membership, he said.
The NATO meeting will be held in Brussels on March 5.
The meeting will be followed by a NATO-Georgian Commission meeting.
