Border guards of the Poti regional administration detained TUGRUL S- 1 tanker flying under the Turkish flag due to polluting environment at the Poti port.
The Border Police reported that the case is under investigation.
According to preliminary data, the Turkish vessel will be fined in the amount of 65,000 lari ($ 1 equals 1.65 lari) and plus the amount for pollution of the environment.
