Biased judging has been eliminated in the Azerbaijani football, President of the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan Rovnag Abdullayev said.
"Refereeing is improving, although there are some problems in this field. Everybody can make a mistake, but the main thing that we were able to eliminate the bias judging," the AFFA president said in his speech at an awarding ceremony of the winners of the Azerbaijani football championship.
Abdullayev expressed satisfaction with the work of the Professional Football League (PFL). "Forming the PFL was a right step. The Championship was held at a high level. The marathon was long, I congratulate the football community on its end," he said.
Two teams contested for a gold medal in this season of the championship, Abdullayev said. "I hope their number will reach up to eight in the next season."
