Head Coach of Baki club Jokića Hadzievski was chosen the best coach of Azerbaijani Premier League football season 2008/2009. Hadzievski was awarded a special diploma at the Trend press centre on May 22.
Following the survey which took place on the website of Trend within 15 days, 50 percent (2,289 people) voted in favor of Baki club head coach Hadzievski., Trend Azerbaijani Desk Head Emil Huseynli said at the event.
The Baki club whose head coach is Hadzievski became the champion in the season 2008/2009 of the Premier League.
From February 1996 to August 1999, Hadzievski was the head coach of the Macedonian national team. This national team could achieve its best results under his leadership. The team scored 13 points and ranked fourth in the group at the qualifying stage of the World Cup 1998.
The Macedonian specialist is working in the Baki club since September 2007. The club ranked 8th in this year. In October 2007, Hadzievski was appointed head coach of the Azerbaijani national team, having the post for four months.
The Inter club Head Coach Valentin Khodukin ranked second place with 26 percent of the votes (1,187 people). The Inter club led by Khodukin ranked second in the country's championship in 2008.
Head Coach of the Karabakh team Gurban Gurbanov occupied the third place with 15 percent (683 people).
Gurbanov has been appointed as the head of coach of the team this season. The Karabakh will meet with the Inter in the final of the Azerbaijani Cup within next days.
Head Coach of the Baku Olympic club Asgar Abdullayev was the best coach of 2008 as a result of the Trend poll. The young team ranked second last year and sixth this year.
