On May 29, employees of the Georgian Interior Ministry detained two suspects in the attack on the police, which occurred on May 28 evening at the parliament building, where five police officers were seriously wounded, the ministry said.
Ministry of Internal Affairs carries out activities to locate three other suspects. In the case, 30 people were questioned as witnesses.
According to the Public Protector, the staff of the Department of Constitutional Security on Friday detained seven opposition supporters who participated in yesterday's incident.
