NATO military exercises finish in Georgia

The "Cooperative Lancer 2009/ Cooperative Longbow 2009" multinational military exercises under the aegis of NATO were officially closed in the Vaziani military base in Georgia.

Deputy Chief of Joint Staff of Georgian Armed Forces, Brigadier General David Nairashvili and by NATO - the deputy chief of the Madrid headquarters, Lieutenant-General Abdullah Ati congratulated militaries from 14 countries participating in the exercises on the end of the event.

At the end of the ceremony, those involved in the commanding troop exercises were handed over certificates and souvenirs.

Azerbaijani representatives were amongst the militaries, as well.
