Georgia, Tbilisi, June 3 / Trend , N. Kirtskhalia/
European Commission to Investigate Causes of Georgian War which is led by Swiss expert Heidi Talyavini will begin consultations with Tbilisi today.
Commission's members held meetings in Sukhumi before arriving in Tbilisi.
Talyavini's Commission is expected to provide conclusion in two months. The commission is expected to answer two major questions: who and when launched the August war?
The Georgian Foreign Ministry hopes that the commission will be impartial.
Georgian MP and chairman of the anti-crisis council Giya Tortladze is not optimistic about it and said that the commission has two members who are pro-Russian. "Besides, the commission has not been to the conflict zone. It is impossible to make impartial conclusion without it," he said.
