Non-governmental organizations and opposition staged a protest action in front of the Gdlansk prison urging to release those suspected of organizing Mukhrovani revolt.

The protest action was staged by NGO coalition.

Head of the Coalition for Our Rights David Liluashvili said accusing military men of revolt and coup d'eta is nonsense.

"We demand to release military men who were arrested by authoritarian regime with false charges," he said.

Conservative Party Leader Bidzina Gurjabidze said the suspects are pressure to give evidence about opposition leaders' involvement with the revolt.

The action participants demanded to issue medical discharge on condition of General Koba Kobaladze who went on hunger strike 30 days ago.
