The level of corruption in higher educational institutions of Kyrgyzstan is high. Students, who are not even attending lectures, move from course to course easily, President Kurmanbek Bakiyev said at today's meeting with students of the Kyrgyz-Russian (Slavonic) University, IA "24.kg" reported.
Investments in the education system of Kyrgyzstan are useless if it does not yield fruits, he said.
Higher education institutions are not the source of knowledge for students anymore. Diploma is not a confirmation of knowledge of student, Bakiyev said.
An order will be established in the education system. "Officials, teachers and students will participate in reforms. But, first we need to chose right way," Bakiyev added.
