Lack of ballots recorded in several polling stations in Tabriz

People could not vote at some polling stations in Tebriz from 12:00 of the day till evening, since the ballots finished, Mehr news agency reported.

Chairman of the electoral headquarter of Mousavi in Tabriz Hamid Shukri said that due to the lack of ballots, from noon till evening, people had no opportunity to vote and many of them refused to participate in the voting and went home. According to Shukri, ballots finished exactly at the polling stations supporting Mousavi.

As Mir Hossein Mousavi is from Tabriz, it is expected that he will be supported by the majority of its population.

However, the Chairman of the Iranian Central Election Commission Kamran Daneshdzhu said that lack of ballots was not recorded in any polling stations, and all stations were provided with ballots. According to Daneshdzhu, additional two million ballots were printed and distributed.
