Kazakhstan, Astana, June 18/ Trend , K.Konirova / According to the presidential decree, Akhmetov Daniyal Kenzhetaevich was dismissed from the post of Defense Minister of Kazakhstan, the press service of Ak-Orda reported.
"According to the decree of the Head of State, temporarily the duties of the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan were entrusted on Altynbaev Mukhtar Kapashevich, Chairman of Committee of Chiefs of Staff - First Deputy Minister of Defense of Kazakhstan," the same source said.
Akhmetov has served as defense minister for two years after completion of term of office as Prime Minister of Kazakhstan.
Upon decree of the Head of State, Fedorov Oleg Anatolievich was dismissed from the position of Deputy Interior Minister of Kazakhstan, the press service of Ak-Orda reported.
