Iranian Foreign Minister Manuchehr Mottaki has announced that he will not participate in the G8 meeting on situation in Afghanistan to be held in Italy, Mehr reported.
Italian Foreign Minister Franco Frattini invited Iranian foreign minister to take part in the enlarged meeting of the G8 foreign ministers in Trieste.
The meeting of the G8 foreign ministers attended by representatives from India, China, Mexico, Brazil, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Turkey will take place in Trieste in Italy on June 25-27.
