Georgian parliament appoints former prime minister as ambassador to NATO

Georgia, Tbilisi, June 26 / Trend , N.Kirtskhalia / At its last plenary meeting of the spring session, the Parliament of Georgia approved former Prime Minister Grigol Mgaloblishvili as an ambassador of Georgia to NATO. Some 100 MPs voted for and one against this decision.

Before being appointed prime minister, Mgaloblishvili was the ambassador of Georgia to Turkey, and his activity was assessed as successful.
