North Korea launches seventh rocket per day

North Korea launched the seventh rocket from eastern coast of Korea within July 4, RIA Novosti said with reference to Renhap agency getting information in South Korea's united committee of staff heads.

South Korea's ministry of defense confirmed information about launching of 6 rockets by Democratic People's Republic of Korea on July 4. Rockets were launched at 09:00 from eastern coast of Korea from launching pad near Vonsan port.   

"North Korea launched the seventh rocket at 17:40 (12:40 Moscow time). We think that it was launched from the same launching pad," South Korean representative of the ministry of defense willing to be uncalled said.   

According to military men and South Korean media outlets, the first two rockets were launched at 08:00 local time (02:00 Moscow time), the third one - 3 hours later, the fourth one - at noon local time (06:00 Moscow time), the fifth one - at 14:50 local time (08:50 Moscow time), the sixth one was launched at 16:10 local time (11:10 Moscow time). 

According to unknown source of South Korean Renhap agency, rockets launched on July 4 are Scud rockets. Rockets flied 400-500 kilometers and fell in Japanese sea.

South Korean foreign ministry and Japan addressed with flat condemnation and regret concerning regular rocket tests in Democratic People's Republic of Korea. They called actions of their neighbor as provocation violating UN Security Council resolution directed to escalation of tension in north-east of Asia.

According to approximate estimations, Democratic People's Republic of Korea has 600 Scud rockets, including Hwasong-5 with range of 300 kilometers and Hwasong-6 with distance of flight of 500 kilometers, the agency said.

Democratic People's Republic of Korea launched also 4 rocket of small distance last Thursday.
