Azerbaijani Ambassador to Georgia Namig Aliyev visited the Marneuli region and held meetings in the Gizilhajili, Sadakhli, Burma, Tazakand, Gasimli, Gushchu and Kachagan villages.
During the visit, the ambassador met with residents of the villages, familiarized with their problems, logistics of local schools, water supply of rural people, as well as issues about their employment, the Azerbaijani Embassy in Georgia reported on July 22.
The ambassador got familiarization with the construction of the Marneuli Olympic Sport Complex in the region of the same name. Books were granted when visiting libraries of the Sadakhli and Kachagan schools.
